Am looking at SatNav and have narrowed it down to these two. Navman will be £140 at Costco soon on offer and Garmin about £120, so not much in it really.
Don't want anything too flash but a unit that can be transferred easily between cars would be preferable.
Anyone got any ideas as to which is best?

Navman icn530 a great unit apparently. Petrol and parking buttons are also a great idea imo.

Bought a Garmin I3 from Asda a few months back for £127. Hopeless couldn't hold a signal for more than 10 minutes. I took it back and was offered another - asked if we could go and try it outside to make sure it worked. Hopeless again and the assistant was more than happy to give me a refund.
Finished paying more for a Tom Tom 300 that has never let me down yet.

I have owned a Garmin I3 for well over a year now, it is small and easy to use and I have rarely had any problems with finding a signal (only when having driven over 200 miles from my previous destination without turning it on), it can take a little time to aquire if you do this but I find it very reliable.
The other factor that has me singing the Garmin's praises is that their customer services are excelent. I had a very heavy crash and, although the unit stayed in one piece, the mount however launched out of the car and was underneath when the car rolled, needless to say it died a horrible death (the only casualty thank god). I contacted Garmin to enquire about where to buy a replacement and they sent through 2 free windscreen mounts for absolutely no charge.
Never known such good service
