Just got my wifes car insurance renewal notice, £182 with Direct Line for a Honda Jazz, 2 40+ drivers with full no claims and no points.
Decided to shop around a bit in typical MSE style and came across a link on the Quidco site for Prudential offering £100 cashback via Quidco. I expected the premium quoted to be well over £200 thereby diluting the effect of the £100 cashback, but to my shock the price quoted was just £157.
So with the cashback thats a years car insurance for the princely sum of just £57. Result!
I can also cancel at no charge in 14 days so if for any reason the Quidco cashback isn't tracked in that time, I'll cancel and start looking around again, but can't really see me beating £57.
