It asks you to click on "submit your tesco.com details", but when i click on it, it tells me "Thank you for for requesting a free sample. Because you are already registered as a tesco.com customer, we already have your personal details."

strange because Im not logged in to tesco.com and using a different computer, so how do they know?!

Not totally sure about this but i think when u register with tesco and after you log out they ask do you want us to remember your details and still log out, if you tick yes then i think that a permanent cookie is left on your machine so maybe this website accesses this.

Had a look to see if it reads ya Tesco.com saved info or uses the link to the original poster. The website uses the 'C=' in the link as the customer ID for Tesco.com. as found in the website html:

'ad1028comp.htm?c=' + custID;

The original poster is going to get lots tehee!

This could be true, but the last time I used tesco.com, we had our old computer and have got a new one since then!!!

Hi

Does any one know where the link is for the eye drops, I have looked on Tesco.com and can not find it any where and now I need the eye drops as my eyes are getting very tired. I have seen another thread for this and that is the same no link.

Thank you

this offer is only valid for existing members of tesco.com who have been sent the email direct that is why you can't put your details in so the person who put this link on the board will probably get about 1000 bottles coz if you were like me i pressed submit about 5 times

I would just like to clarify that even though I put the post on the board, when I applied for the freebie I also got the message saying "Thank you for for requesting a free sample. Because you are already registered as a tesco.com customer, we already have your personal details."

I just assumed that because I was a tesco.com customer that there had been a cookie on my machine that it had accessed my information from.

I didn't receive this freebie from an e.mail but found it on the internet.

Sorry, but after reading all the posts it does seem that this freebie is not so freebie afterall.

There is a way around this. Just sign up to tesco online at www.tesco.com (costs nothing). Then goto www.tesco.com/access and login to your account. Click amend personal details. Then right click e-mail customer services in the paragraph of text and copy shortcut. This will include your customer ID ;D Paste into notepad and then cut the ID from there (8 digit number)
Then change this url by replacing placeyouridhere is with your actual id.
(change this url) www.digforfire.co.uk/tesco/ad/ad1028/ad1028list.htm?c=placeyouridnumberhere
Voila
