I Wanna Register My Vehicle But Not Pay £20!

hI.

I need to register my car after someone gave me theres, but they lost the log book. Just realised u gotta pay 20 quid for a new one? This is news to me, but been out of country for a while so guess the goverments constantly thinking of ways to steal money off motorists.

Anyway just wondered if anyone know of a way to register a vehicle without paying the 19 pound rip off?

Think of it as part of the unavoidable expenses such as tax disc, MOT, petrol, oil, insurance, servicing, parking charges, etc and you'll not notice the £20.
