Cheap flights to the US........ Forget it!
Those members of our travel group who flew via the US to Rio, were delayed so long by US security measures that they missed all connections for the day and joined us in Rio two days late ...tired out.
WORSE was to come. Their luggage had all the locks broken off in the US; if you fail to use US made luggage, they haven't got time to mess around trying keys; they break the locks.
The airlines are awash with cheap seats on empty planes. And will remain so as long as the Atlantic route remains a nightmare.
