As the parent of a daughter with Downs Syndrome, this is useful. However, being also a member of the Downs Syndrome Association and other associations, I have access to numerous similar leaflets and brochures.
If anyone wants to know more about Downs I suggest contacting the DSA, a friend who has a Downs child, or........ me!
On a day-to-day basis, we don't treat my daughter any differently from our other children - she goes to mainstream school; eats, dresses, communicates as normal, etc. etc...
In addition, like any other proud parent, I LOVE talking about her!
Cheers,
Don
