View Full Version : Muller Cinema Tickets - anyone receive?

I had an email to say I'd receive these within 28 days ... way back at the beginning of November and have never received a thing. Did anyone receive these?

I've also emailed them a number of times and they've never replied ... given up all hope now. :(

Me neither - when did/does the competition end - as they may wait until then, than have upto 28 days to send them?

Nope, me neither. The comp ended 31/12/04, so don't think they can use that as an excuse...

I emailed them regarding this and the 2 cheques that I never got from the other Muller comp. They did reply requesting my details (this was about three weeks ago), and they've sent me one cheque, but not the other and, obviously, not the tickets.

I have a print-out of a winning e-mail which provides the phone number (01727 898141) to ring and claim.

I called them on 3 December 2004 and left details. I called again on 26 Jan 2005 and the message said to ring 0870 3450110. Again, I left a message. I called again today and the number is no longer in use!!

I appreciate that it is not a "major" prize, but it is disappointing that a large company can duck its responsibilities like this. However, is there anything we can do?! Ideas?

Yeah, forgot to say, I've since had my other cheque so they're obviously doing their stuff, only very very slowly... I'd imagine we'll get them EVENTUALLY...

Got both pairs of UCI tickets that I'd won, the day after I got the Thorntons chocs!

I e-mailed Muller about the missing prizes, although I had no reply at all, it must have pushed the right buttons!

Chocs turned up on Monday, tickets on Tuesday of this week.

I have e-mailed three times, complaining that I have not recieved my tickets, or even an acknowledgement of my complaint that I had not yet recieved my tickets.

GGRRRRR

It is so frustrating. I am not buying muller products (even if they are on special offer) in protest!!!!!

has anyone got any other details I can try contacting?

Thanks. I may as well send a message to that e-mail address as well!

The reason that I mentioned carlson-digital was because that was on the e-mail address that I received when I entered the competition (via e-mail) advising that I had "won"!

Hopefully somebody may respond??

Having got nowhere by e-mailing muller customer services I am a little fed up. It is not a huge prize - but the point is we have been promised something, hat hasn't happened. I have therefore e-mailed BBC Watchdog and told them of the problem.

Fingers crossed that others have done the same - and the story/situation will come to light. Multi-national companies with huge profits shouldn't be able to get awa ywith things like this - sorry rant now over!

I'll let you know what response I get.

I've had a reply from Catalyst too. Apparently, my tickets were sent out straight after my last email over a month ago (yeah, right!) but they'll despatch another pair now. Here's hoping... :)

Edited as I think it's coming back to me ... didn't we have to answer a silly question on the Muller site and they sent the "winning" email if you got it right?

I would imagine that they just check to a database so if you provide them with an email and a mobile number they should be able to trace it...the more details the better, so if you do have an email in your system that will help.

Although I have been told that my tickets are on the way - not yet received!!

Hope you receive them!

Spoke to David this am ... he took my details and said someone was ringing him this pm. to verify everything, then my tickets will be sent.

I asked him how long this would take and he said it should be pretty quick. He did say however that his desk is covered with various emails/letters from people about not receiving their tickets!

When I asked him what went wrong, he basically said the computer was unable to cope with the number of entries and a lot of people's details were not stored, or were lost. What also added to the confusion was the fact that Muller had two competitions running at the same time ... the text one and the Bridget Jones one. No excuse really though ...

David called me last Tuesday apologising for the delay (which was nice of him) and telling me that the tickets were on their way.

Still not recieved them though. Will e-mail again if not recieved by the end of the week.

I had to chase them up. To be fair I spoke to him yesterday and he sorted out for them to be sent by recorded delivery!

After speaking to David about 3 weeks ago, I've still not received the "promised" tickets, so have just emailed him to chase.

Quick update :

Justine has just called me ... said she sent them out last week and I should have received. As I obviously haven't, she's posting some more out to me first class today and, if I haven't got them by the weekend, I'm to ring her again.

Perhaps I'll get two lots of these ... ;)

I'm in teh same boat. I had a phone call from david promising me that he had dispatched the tickets and they would be with me (recorded delivery) within 3 -5 working days. 2 weeks later and they still havn't arrived!

I sent an e-mail this morning - fingers crossed that they'll get around to sorting the problem out!

Mmm, all these "promises" don't seem to mean much do they:rolleyes: Let's hope we don't spend the equivalent cost of the tickets in 'phone calls, etc.:rolleyes:

Hooray ... tickets arrived this am! Don't know though if they're the "first lot" (which they say they posted last week), or the "second lot" after I chased them up a couple of days ago. Perhaps I'll get some more:D ;)

Do hope you get them soon. I'd send another email (or 2!) ... can't do any harm. I think the problem here is that so many people have not received them and they're pretty snowed under.

And, to say sorry for the delay, I also recieved a box of chocolates. These were gratefully recieved and I ahve already devoured half of the box!

Should be despatched on Fri.
