If you have a friendly mechanic, ask him if he belongs to the Vauxhall 'Trade Club'.
It costs nothing for him to join, but gets Vauxhall genuine parts at prices lower, sometimes, or as cheap as non-genuine product.
But the best deal is on their lubricants. They have a more or less permanent offer of 4 for price 3 on 5ltr oils.
So around £7ish = cost of 10w40 semi synthetic per pack.

Try Makro if you have or know someone with a card, I bought 6 litres ( 3x 2 litre packs ) of Carlube triple R semi synthetic for £12.30, it's made by Tetrosyl who are quite a big name in car care products and it says on the bottle it's used by Morgan and TVR in their engines from new so it can't be that bad.
It was a couple of months ago but it might still be the same price
Costco. Very cheap both for Castrol and for less well known brands.
Mike
thanks for the suggestions but makro and costco aren't open to the general public
