Hi All,
I've got to travel around 600 miles/week with my new job. I'm obviously loading up on a lot of diesel (50-60 quid a week). Anyone know the best reward scheme? Shell? Nectar? Tesco?
Cheers...

I'm a great believer in Shell fuels, as opposed to supermarket product (plenty alternative posts about this) so I use a Shell credit card, in conjunction with the Shell points scheme.
You'll have 'tergets' set for you, which will give extra points, from time to time, too. Works out at around 1- 1 1/2p discount/litre. Apply for the credit card with the form in the forcourt shop & you'll get some points free, to start you off. & then in a few weeks time, they'll offer you a second card, for your Mrs, with more free points. So don't apply for dual cards initially!
I fill up mostly in Luton, where they price match Asda, so win with better fuel at low prices!!
If you do need to go the supermarket route, think Tesco is the best, then Morrisons, Sainsbury is hardly worth bothering with-unless it's a 5p/litre voucher discount offer!

So do points mean prizes? :-) I don't want to have to use 3000 litres of fuel before I get a free postage stamp, and at least with Tescos I know I'm earning points all the time.....
Cheers...

If you could get it, the GE credit card (see the cashback cards article) gives 3% cashback on petrol (and supermarket) spending.
Perhaps combine this with Sainsbury's/Tescos "Spend £50 get 5p/litre off fuel" vouchers, and clubcard/nectar points.

The Shell scheme lets you claim a High Street voucher worth £10 for 1500 points.
Alternativly it could be a Shell voucher - to buy more fuel!!
