one for the girls here I think!

I have been using Dermalogica stuff for ages and love it but it is ever so expensive, so was wondering if anyone knew of any sites that do good deals on it, or free stuff when you buy stuff - they are always good!

Thanks

ive been using dermalogica for a good while and nothing compare - there are sellers on ebay who sell the salon size (last you a year!) of all the products, brand new and sealed for pretty much the same price we pay for a tiny one in salons - i ordered lots over xmas and they were all great!

Ebay would be the cheapest, but if not try US sites like THIS ONE (http://store.faceetc.com/) as it is cheaper than buying in the UK.

I've used beautyflash.co.uk, who have a price promise to be the cheapest. service was really good: ordered one day, delivered the next. You also get to choose some free samples with each order which is nice.

If OP's found anything cheaper i'd be interested?

Please can you tell me about Dermlogica products?

I noticed on the www.beautyflash.co.uk (http://www.beautyflash.co.uk) site it recommended you have a consultation before buying any of these products. Did you?

Have you tries this:
Dermalogica Sheer Tint Moisture SPF 15 Light

I love tinted moisturisers, but the Vichy one I use now does not have a SPF, I wondered if this was good or not, and if it was suitable for dry skin, are the products perfume free/anti-allergen?

Any advice gratefully received

When I ordered, two of the products arrived squashed - not impressed.

I've now switched to www.elitebeauty.co.uk (http://www.elitebeauty.co.uk) as they send theirs out boxed - no problems so far, and probably slightly quicker too.

I've checked out the websites people have listed and have found that they are definitely more expensive than the one I purchase from.

Try: www.courtyardclinic.co.uk or www.salonskincare.co.uk

Courtyard Clinic offers 20% discount off Dermalogica products and P&P is also free.
SalonSkincare also have dermalogica at a reduced price - P&P is £3.50 unless you spend over £50

Hope this helps

ps: I've used both these sites and can honestly say the service was great. However, I prefer The Courtyard Clinic (they also give 2-3 samples, i've just received 4 samples of the body scrub with a skin kit)

Hello Natzdance

I'll move your thread to the 'Health & Beauty' board.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=1009335#post1009335)) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. OK - im training to be a beauty therapist and we use both Dermalogica and Solutions to do facials and other treatments - personally i cant use either as my skin is far too sensitive but funnily enough i can use No7 range from Boots. If you go for the dry skin stuff its great. The range has no perfume or anything like that and its alot cheeper than Dermalogica (a face scrub is about £5 and really rich moistrising creams about £12 but can be used so sparingly it lasts for ages).

To be honest when i have a little more time on my hands i will start making my own face masks and scrubs from natural products. My tutor is 30+ with two kids and two jobs and she has the glowing fresh skin of a young girl. She will only use homemade products.

If you need any advice i can do my best - please remember im in training but learning alot at the same time. If you do chose to use natural homemade products you will need to know what skin typr you are because some natural products can dry out or be too greasy or harsh ect for your skin type! Things like rosewater and aloe vera works well in these mixes. There are many more though!

Dermalogica products are no different from loads of other chemically laden overpriced beauty industry fodder you might be interested in this link.

Dermalogica
Does the professional atmosphere of the school associated with Dermalogica mean better products? The proof is in the pudding, and this pudding is, for the most part, just Jell-O, not chocolate mousse. The company's literature expounds at length on the ingredients the products don't contain. Nevertheless, there are still many plant extracts in these products that are potentially serious irritants and problems for skin. In fact, most of these products are marred by the presence of unnecessary, irritating plant extracts. Aside from rather standard, though overpriced, cleansers, toners, and moisturizers, what is most disturbing is the number of poorly formulated sunscreens. A skin-care company that aligns itself with a medical image should know better.

i have used the jersey company for my dermalogica products and to be honest they seem to have the most competitive prices and delivery was really quick, its also free P&P

The jerseybeautycompany is cheaper than beautyflash or courtyardclinic (by a quid or two per bottle).

I've not used jerseybeautycompany (will next time now i've seen this) but beautyflash have always been really good whenever i've ordered from them.

For as long as I've been buying dermalogica, beautyflash has almost always worked out cheaper than ebay once you factor in ebay sellers' postage.

You can get to from beautysleuth through Quidco too!

Hiya

Dermalogica products are fantastic. I can highly recommend www.bodybeauty.org (http://www.bodybeauty.org) (salon is Mind & Body Beauty). They are cheapest on the web, free postage, discounts for ordering above £30 & £60 and was delivered really quickly.

One point to make after speaking to a Dermalogica at a resent beauty show, they advised making sure that the website (or salon) you purchase off is authorised!! This can be done by contacting Dermalogica. Also, any website thats sells online should have details of the salon they belong to as this is stipulated by Dermalogica rules.

You may already know this, but Dermalogica have an interesting history. They were set up in France in 1919 to make covering products for people wounded in the first world war.

They have obviously come on a bit since then.

I don't know their range very well, but I have looked at a couple of their products that were pretty good. But they do cost a lot and I am not at all sure that they justify the premium.
