When the freebies arrive they will no doubt come with a Goldshield cataloge. Before you order do check how their prices compare with ZIPVIT (http://zipvit.co.uk)
In the past there has always been a clear saving to be made by using Zipvit.

Excellent Spot but, like some others I couldn't proceed via the website...
So I sent their Customer Services an email with all the relevants and received their reply last pm to the effect that they would open the offer to me although it's a 'one-time offer' and had, in fact, closed.. :)
Plus I'm eligible for monthly repeats for just the P&P Charge (£2.95) :)

Rachellee, at first it told me I'd got the first 2 code words wrong but I just retyped them and it accepted my order.
Couldn't order any for my hubby though as it would only accept one order per ISP it said. We'll just have to share 'em!

Can anyone tell me if the Glucox tablets contain Chondroitin.
CheersNo they don't contain Chondroitin. They contain
Glucosamine Sulphate HCl 750mg Green Tea Leaf 30mg Turmeric Root 30mg Rosemary Leaf 25mg Oregano Leaf 15mg
Quantity 60 tablets Size 750mg Price £ 19.95
Zipvit for comparison supply
Glucosamine Supreme-Strength 1000mg - now available in tablet form at an even lower cost-busting price! - 360 £8.95
which works out at About £1.50 for 60 1000mg Glucosamine tablets.
There is quite a lot of support for the use of Glucosamine and Chondroitin sufficient for it to be a prescribable produce from your GP if it's use was thought relevant to your condition.
There is very little support for the use of Green tea (http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=146) for arthritis or osteoarthritis. I drink it myself for other reasons apart from the fact that I enjoy drinking it more than ordinary black tea.
Turmeric, ground (http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=78) Rosemary (http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=75) Oregano (http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=73)
are all fairly cheap and you could incorporate these in your diet relatively easiliy but I must repeat there is little scientific evidence at the cellular and molecular levels to explain their mechanisms of action.

Thanks for the info.
The person concerned has a weight problem and does not enjoy going to the doctors to say the least.
Certainly they would want to try them first to see if they work and after that even then would probably prefer to pay than see the doctor.
I agree that the weight is a valid health issue but unfortunately it detracts from any other genuine issues.
Ted_Hutchinson

You should be aware that the recommended amount of glucosamine is generally 1500mg daily so if you are buying mixed with chondroitine you may need to take an extra glucosamine to make that up to the right amount.
It would be better though if we all went back to making proper stock from chicken carcases or bones from the butchers. It's the jelly like stuff that you get on a good solid stock when it's cooled that is in the glucosamine tablets so making your own soup from stock made the old fashioned way is the way to go. Tastes better than stock cubes also. Doing it in the pressure cooker takes no time at all and you can throw the remains to your chickens and they will fight overy them as well.
Increasing intake of vitamin d3 cholecalciferol in Winter is probably a good idea for everyone in the UK but particularly for obese people. Vitamin d is made on the surface of the skin and their is evidence to suggest it gets trapped in the fat layers and doesn't get into general circulation so taking separate vitamin d3 cholecalciferol tablets and calcium tablets may get the endocrine system functioning better and thus enable weight reduction to take place. An effective daily dose in the UK is 4000iu ten Healthy Directvia quidco (http://www.quidco.com/health-beauty/healthy-direct/) tablets. EP781 for extra £2 discount off £10.
The reason for the separate calcium /vit d mix is that the mixes use ergocalciferol which is more toxic and less efficient in the mix so the little amount of vit d2 in the mixed tablets will block the effect of natural D3 cholecalciferol.
