To take part, simply complete the following survey and register your contact details. All participants will start the trial at the same time, therefore you will receive your first three months’ supply and instructions during the first week of August 2006. Towards the end of the first three months you will be sent a reminder email to complete the same survey online again. Once completed and submitted, you will then receive your next three months’ supply of mumomega infancy. You will then be sent a final reminder email, and once you have completed the 3rd survey, you will be sent a further three months’ supply as a thank you from us. In total you will receive 9 months supply with a value of £89.

The Equazen site itself has the same info HERE (http://www.equazen.com/default.aspx?pid=353) as the netmums page given in the original link, except it also includes the age required for the study which has been missed off the netmums page for some reason.

So for those of you wondering, your child needs to be between the age of six months and two years.

excellent :) i filled out the survey and it said it will be here by the 1st of august :)

It will be interesting to see if i need to give this to my little one, he is generally good all the time and hasnt showed any signs at all of needing any supplement - but i dont eat fish at all, i used to be a veggie so introducing meat into our diets when i was pregnant was bad enough but i will never be able to get around to cooking fish (bleeuuuggghh) so my son has no omegas in his diet at all really as he is to young for nuts.

I bookmarked the mums site too, looks worth a look :)

would it harm if they were older do you think?

What do you mean by would it harm

The study is asking for a certain age range so I would think they are only looking for that age. But actually giving omega to older children, even adults, is said to be beneficial.
