There has been a substanual increase in car parking charges in major cities across britain in the last year. These charges can be avoided by visiting one of the many out of town shopping centres that are available such as
Metro Centre (www.themetrocentre.co.uk)
Trafford Centre (www.Traffordcentre.co.uk)
Blue Water (www.bluewater.co.uk)
Lakeside (lakeside.uk.com)
All of these have inexcess of 10,000 parking spaces all for free.
However there are those who perfer a more local personal feel that is provided by local entrepreneurs in their local shop. Often you will find that free parking is available in the street outside the shop. An example of this is Wallbottle newsagents in the outskirts of Newcastle, where ample free parking is avaiable
