Tampon holders

I remember we used to get these free as a teen, but where can you get them as an adult? I need one for applicator tampons but have no idea where I can get one that's cheap and possibly free!!

I did find a website doing very funky ones, but they cost nearly a tenner!!

If only I'd kept those fuchsia plastic ones they used to give out...

I remember the Tampax lady! Why not try writing to Tampax or contacting them via their website. If they still go round schools giving out those bright pink holders (although I did get a nice yellow one once) they will probably send you one.

Lilets are giving them away free with pks of 32 tampons (not applicator ones though...) at the moment...

I remember as a kid finding my mum's in the airing cupboard and blowing into them to play a tune as i didn't know what they were... :eek:

If you register on www.beinggirl.co.uk (http://www.beinggirl.co.uk) they send you some samples sometimes. They used to send a tampon holder out too - not sure if they still do but it'd be worth a try. They dont need to know you aren't 14:D

I used to have a fabric glasses case which worked a treat...and held more than 2 super + tampons too!

Got a great metal one free on non-applicator lilets - holds about six tampons and looks like a business card holder - keep it in desk at work

I'm at school, and they have never given out holders, nor have we had a visit from the tampax lady. I sent off for the tampax samples, and got three tampax compak fresh normal sized applicator tampons but no holder.

i got a holder by sending off for free samples from tampax. had it years now though and its slowly starting to die on me.

i nickname it my cigar case :D and tampons have been re-christened 'mice' much to OHs amusement :rotfl:

If only I'd kept those fuchsia plastic ones they used to give out...I am very jealous because I never had any fuschia pink ones! Only boring cream and more recently some blue ones which don't stay shut!

I had a boring blue one too. I don't use a holder, I got a freebie make up bag from a magazine, that's too small for make up and just right for any sort of tampon :-)
Not so noticeable in the handbag as well!
