If it's like the one I had from comfort, it's impregnated with the scent. I hung mine in my porch, smelled lovely for about 3 weeks!

@ newleaf. This is shaped like a do not disturb sign that you hang on a doorknob. Your supposed to hang it in your wardrobe. Its really strong actually.
