Bone scan, results ?

I am having a bone scan next week as I have had problems with my ankle. What I would like to know is how long from having the bone scan will my Doctor get the results ?

When I had a bone scan the hospital said 10 days for gp to get results. I waited 14 days , rang gp, receptionist said no sorry 3 weeks for results. Waited 3 weeks rang, they said a minimum of 8 weeks but could be longer! I am still waiting, in fact may give them a ring now.
Hope you don't have to wait too long for your results but I wouldn,t expect them too quick! ;)

ps cant ring them now as we have to ring for results after 3pm so will try tomorrow.

iwas told 2-3 weeks before my consultant would get them

mind u then i have to wait for an appointment with him so that could take weeks longer

oh dear, I thought id have the results much quicker than that. I have had an xray and it shows problems but it does not tell them exactly what the problem is.
Today I have not been able to walk. My foot is very swollen and cannot bear weight on it.
