Best time to buy/sell a car

Does anybody know if there is information on the best time to buy/sell a car? For example buy a car at 9 months old ( nearly new but you save loads) and sell at 4 years (before the value plummets)?

LOL, very true. Im a car dealer but have been away for a while (over at the football myself). I made sure that i have had staff at all auctions running whilst England have been on and I have snapped up some bargains.
