you have to download a free trial certificate and take it to the nearest opticians that are doing this offer

It says they're available by prescription only, so I'm assuming that you'd have to pay for the eye test - unless you're on benefits.

If I'm on JSA, do I not have to pay for eye tests?
I paid £25.50 the other week for an eye test... more than half of my weekly JSA.
How can I get it free, and can I reclaim what I paid?
EDIT:
Oh, actually, forget it...
It was a contact lense check up, not a sight test.
Those aren't covered.
