Hey!

I was in Makro in Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Staffordshire on sunday and they gave me a free limited edition world cup coke glass. They were maybe for ppl who spent but I only bought a 30p drink!!

Havent a clue if this is a company wide thing or just left over stock but thought it was worth a mention :cool:

I done a serch to try and find out what Marko was. Seems to be a cash & carry compamy for members only. How much is the membership? and what where you doing there between midnight and 4am is it open 24hours.

You need to be either an employee of a business that has joined Makro, or own your own business, and join for free. Hope that helps.

Apologies if this was confusing....with writing this at some stupid hour this morning I was still thinking it was saturday, and was actually referring to last sunday being the 18/06/06.

I got a postcard from Makro yesterday, can't find it at the moment, but it said as I hadn't shopped there for a while I could pick up a freebie including 8 bottles of some obscure beer, couple of tubs of Pringles and other goodies from 25 June :)

If you havn't got a card you seriously need to get one!

The one in Croydon, London is HUGE!!

Is there any way to get a card without actually owning a business or being a worker, as I expect you need to have a VAT invoice or something???
