I am just wanting to ask money savers, are trampolines worth the money? I've been reading about them recently and cannot decide if I want to buy one.
I want to lose some weight and heard this a good way for adults and children alike to do so. However, I don't really want to pay that much for one.
Any ideas or thoughts about this, then let me know.

Rebounding Exercise Review (http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk/exercise/reviews/rebounding.htm)
However as this site has a direct link to a cheap rebounder it may not be wholly independant review.

I bought a fitness trampoline for my wife just last week from a site called simply fitness equipment and they were really helpful in helping me choose the right one.
This one:

Wasn't sure at first because of the brand "Body Sculpture" but because of the price and cos it was the cheapest I just went for it and I'm really happy with it! She's not the sporty type so I decided to spoil her and she absolutely loves it. Hope this helps you in what you are looking for!

Nice trampoline here that you may be interested in:

My cousin bought one fairly recently and he was well impressed. Had it set up for a barbecue that he had for the family and all the kids went mad playing on it! He hasn't had any problems with it as far as I know and I think it would be a good addition to your exercise regime!

They are fabulous at toning your stomach! (although I used to play on a real one not one of the mini ones). Can be great fun.

DH is picking a rebounder up for me from Freecycle later tonight. Anyone got any links to instructions / exercise programmes to try with them?
I'm not 100% convinced, but if it's free apart from the cost of the petrol to get it ...

Anything that burns calories will help you to lose weight. You can either do that for free (go running/walking) or cheaply (cycling/swimming) or expensively (getting a personal trainer!).
I had a trampoline for a while - absolutely knackering! this link (http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_burn.html) will help you to work out how many calories it will burn off (bearing in mind that 1lb in weight is approx 3500 cals)

Trampolining is great fun, we've got an 8 foot one in the garden, my 2 girls absolutely love it and spend about an hour a day on it, the little girl next door plays on it too and so do hubby and I when we can manage to lure everyone else off, however I can never manage more than a few minutes at a time without bursting into a fit of the giggles.
I'd definitely recommend it as a way of burning calories, you really feel as though you are having a good workout, but make sure you wear a supportive bra!!

I want one!
How can I fit one into my tiny one-bedroomed fifth floor flat?
Hang it off the ceiling?

:rotfl:The one I have is called a Rebounder, so it's not a 'proper' trampoline. If you can create the floor space, the room for storage is minimal, its legs are only about 8" long, so ours stands on its side in the hallway when not in use. You can also remove the legs for ease of transport!
So far I'm happy just jigging up and down and side to side on it ...
