Anyone had any experience of HSA plans?

i have Rheumatoid arthritis and am considering using it for the complementary therapy and physio.

Anyone had trouble claiming because of a pre existing condition? Also are there limits on how many times you can claim?

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Hippychick,
Dont know if I can help you too much but I will try!
I am with the HSA and have been for 2 years, I think its brill! It costs me a total of about £11 per month and for that I get £77.50 dentist per year, £75 optical, Physio/chiro/osteo/ accup/homeopathy £250 (75%) paid, Chiropody £100 (75%) paid, consultation and allergy testing £200 (75%) paid hospital cover and maternity, you are not claiming because of a pre existing condition you are getting treatment, but you can only get that amount per year, you can obviously up it by paying more per month, but for me it has many advantages because I would be paying that amount on just my eye care per year, plus I spread the payments out over the year!!!
Hope this helps!
Sam
