Hi Foxy ;)

I gave my sim card to my husband (hope I remembered to thank you btw :o ), and as I had no credit in my own phone (waiting for the new one to charge up etc), I asked him to use the money this way too.

Trouble is, he got as far as 83 and then the msg 'sent' ??? Has anyone else encountered this?

Good idea btw. After all, they cost nothing did they?

;)

My first text was a bit of a rogue text. It too sent a bit prematurely as I hadnt hit send. However, I had completed the number but I didnt have a comformation text. All the other times I had a conformation text saying my money had been donated.

I'm not sure tbh but I doubt it. I'll ask the silly old trout when he comes home though ;D

Thanks. I only asked in case it had happened to anyone else ;)

Maybe he's not a silly old trout after all. I take that back ;)

Thanks Sweetcheeks, I'll tell him to try again

Top post Foxy.

We get 180 days to use the credit on the T-mobile SIMs, so if it's a spare card as mine is, you could end up losing the balance anyway.

I got a T-mobile sim card through the post, but there is nothing to state that it has £10 on it.

I got it through the Celtic Football Fan offer if I remember correctly. So does this come with £10 worth of credit, and after that what tarriff is it?

If it has the money then I will gladly donate it. And then I know someone who wants the card so I will also donate the money they give me for it!

Great idea Foxy

Celtic and Rangers cards were loaded with £10 credit.

To check on your balance, call (for free) 150 and you'll get an automated answer.

Just to say, thanks for posting this as I did not realise it was possible to donate in such a manner. Wouldn't it be great if the mobile providers met the amount donated by customers and ate into their huge profits?!!

;DBrilliant idea i had 2 of the football cards and got my hubby to donate one and i did the same with the other card too.And like the other poster said if the phone companies were to match our donated texts it would be brilliant.
