View Full Version : Why is it 'Andrea's' Freebies
MSE Martin
28-03-2004, 10:45 PM
If you're wondering why it's Andrea's Freebies in the money tips. !That's because I asked site stalwart Andrea if she'd do her pick of freebies each week, to help me out. !She is undoubted Queen of this board and finds many of the suggestions herself. !And that's why they're 'Andreas' !- it's quite simple really.

Wow!
What's a mass-spectromentor then? Is that a mis-spelling of mass spectrometer or mass-spectormentor (the latter, being presumably something that causes anguish amongst heavy ghosts?) !;D ;)
Hey, just checkout ebay though there are several:

I went to Morrisons Car Wash at the weekend and thought I'd give my car a treat and have the full shebang! £5.00! - But... as you go in the petrol station shop to pay for the ticket, there should be booklets on the side (inside there is a half price voucer for the top car wash - that's a saving of £2.50!!!).
The lady behind the counter pointed me to them, but she said her boss doesn't like her mentioning that the car wash is half price - but she did anyway! - What a nice lady!!!
Hope you all save some money on this!

Hi Luscious
Its a good tip and I don't think its been mentioned elsewhere. It might be worth you posting it again as a new tip, perhaps on the Grab it... board?
More people might read in a new thread with its own title rather than one about me. ;D

Could always get an orange payg card, call it once every 6 months, no top up necessary and you get 30 free texts a month, and seems to be reliable

I use 02 for texting from my PC at work. I never seem to get to the end of the free ones, although I vaguely remember buying some once and I think they were fairly cheap.

I am very unsure about how you do this. If I wanted to send texts to my friend's mobiles from my pc at work or at home, can someone take me step by step, please

there is a website called cbfsms and they do texts for free they also have a subscription site which you can prebuy your texts and if you and your friends are both subscribers you can text each other for free, but how to text from the pc .................................................. ....................
1 type in search bar cbfsms
2 open cbfsms
3 in the white box with the numbers 44 in type your phone number you want to text to missing out the the first 0 as this is what the 44 means
4 in the next box type in your message.remeber you are limited to a certain nnumber of letters it will tell you how many you have left just under the message box
5 click send
6 click all the boxes then send
7you will be given a 4 digit code type this in the box below the code and click send
remeber to put your name in the message so the person recievng it nows who you are

Here is a link I came across for a free torch. Do I get a little gold star? Like McDonalds...
www.rac.co.uk/submissions/submissions2.cgi?env=rac&config=free-torch
So you can find your way back from the pub when all the lights go out.

Hi Berajine
You just need to return to your copy of the email (or look at the version on the main site - the link is on the right hand side of your screen where it says Martin's Money Tips - Week of...) and click on the links in the Andrea's Freebies box.
Take care
Andrea :)
