Can I make a plea here -
These signs were originally used to tell the emergency services to look for a baby or small child in a car accident as they might be thrown clear or lying injured and not make any noise.
NOW you see them in cars all the time, whether the child/baby is in the car or not.
So now the emergency services are ignoring these signs. So if YOU are not concious and YOU have a child in the car, your child may be thrown clear but not resuced coz the sign is being ignored. How do you tell the emergency services that YES your child IS in your car with you for this journey?
Note: I have 2 children and remove the 'diamond' as soon as they are out of the car (it stays at childcare until they are back in the car. Sad or Glad?
