Sorry they are asking for 2.5 why would you offer the asking price? Start at 2 and settle for 2.25.

I have no idea what this tank is worth by the way.

Do you live near to a Filling Station?;)

How will you test drive it without any road tax?

Superb cars. Check the service history and that the LCD display on the dashboard has not dimmed out. It can be quite a job to replace it. Pretty bulletproof cars.

Don't get one with chrome wheel arches, tinted windows and smell of curry...

Brilliant - absolutely brilliant........ :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We get a lot of those in our place - but generally ok! Some do try to run them and run them and not worry about the odd service every ten years or so... i could be exaggerating a bit..

That's how my Dad looks after his Accord. Just drive it and drive it! In 5 years all it's had tyres, bulbs, wipers and I MADE him have the timing belt done...!

Lee - the one you sent me today was an R reg and it was blue - mileage was low at 81k tho - that was the one I commented on!!

Just looked at the green one -its over priced....

Later ones are going for around 4k.

Mileage not too bad - has it had the 120k service? Plugs, timing belt etc??

The older R Reg one looked better cared for to me, apart from a small piece of front valance, it looked fine.

I love these, had one for about 4 years. Indestructible. They do seem to start leaking/weeking power seering fluid but I just kept it topped up (steering went noisy if I didn't). This one does seem a bit pricey for it's age.

Oh and check the needles on the dash (they tend to stop lighting up) and the LCD radio read out tends to fail. Not show-stoppers I know, but something to be aware of.

Hi
so you think its overpriced? what would you offer then, i did offer him £2,000, said he would take £2,200
but i would only offer £2,000 at most,maybe get back to him and offer less :-)
