Just got a renewal form for RAC of 124.00 joint personal. To have home (which I want) it takes it to 178.50. This would be 13.75 on the internet and with 35.00 back on Quidco. The best negotiating could get it down to is 153.00

I was advised that if I cancel and rejoin it would be counted as a renewal. My husband is the main account holder. I asked what would happen if I joined on a new policy and was the main account holder and was told that since his name was on it as an additional member, it 'MIGHT' be counted as a renewal.

Is this right. Surely it would be a new membership in my name?

I rejoin using RAC/Quidco or AA/Quidco for my parents. Have done for years and never had any comeback. Sounds like you encountered a jobsworth customer services agent.

I never understand large companies. They pay out millions to get new customers and fail to reward existing customers.

Yeah just phone up (use www.saynoto0870.com for free number) and tell them you don't want to renew. Then order through quidco
