Hi everyone
Back in November i had an accident, during the cold weather we had i was coming down a step hill, when i put my foot on the break nothing happened and i slid down the hill until i hit a van. their was nothing i could do to stop the car, but as i hit them it was technicality my faiult.
We exchanged details and i reported it to my insurance company and also got letter from theirs stating they had the accdent reported to them. since then however i have heard nothing and the last details from my insurance company said althrough the accepted libility they had yet to have a response from theirs, this was back in jan.
My questions is, my insurance is coming up for renewal soon. so should i declar the claim, or as it seem to be disappering call it quits and act like it didn't happen, as i wont be out of pocket and neather will my insurance company. (except admin costs).
Since the claim has not actually gone through does it affect my NCD?
Just a few throughs, also any ideas if i want to do this how i should approach my insurance company?
Cheers
