I was beetling around the country in February, and one of the places I enjoyed a short break at was Birmingham.

The train there was delayed, and also coming back - poo. But no matter, I wrote a polite letter to the company, and they gave me £40 worth of 'Rail Travel Vouchers'

They're green, with 'rail travel voucher' and the old British Rail sign. The only thing is, I don't know if they're valid for all journeys on a train, or just the ones around / to Birmingham. It says:

Issued by 'Central Trains Limited Birmingham' and on the back '...you can use as payment or part-payment for the principal train companies overleaf...'

I'm not planning to go back to Brum - so, what can I do with them? I'm off to London again in a couple of weeks, do you reckon I can use them on GNER?

I'll go ask them tomorrow, but just wondering. If not, does anyone want to buy £40 of rail vouchers for the use around Birmingham? :D

Hoorah!

I was bemused by the Birmingham thing on the ticket, but whoo! That'll pay for me ticket.

Cheers!
