Please be careful when giving out invites. I gave one out on these notice boards and unfortunatly I have been bombarded with spam ever since. I never use my Gmail account and nobody knew my address until I gave the invite out. :-[

You can only get it at the moment by being invited. People already with a gmail account can invite others when the invite link appears on their gmail account.

As for being bombarded with spam, I have several gmail accounts, and the only one that gets spam is the one i DONT use to invite people to gmail. I can only guess that as the username for that account if my name, there must be spammers out there with software that guesses email addresses based on obvious names?
