If you sign up for the various movie sites they send weekly newsletters via email. Free and easier to read than texts.

MY ADVICE (based on experience):

Never give your mobile number to companies like this - once you have one text that you've been charged £1.50 to receive you will start receiving many many more.

My October bill was £40 - £20 of which was such text messages that I never asked for.
