Hi,

I can't find the number to pay a SORN fine. Does anyone know it?

I think its different from the general number on the the dvla site

There are numerous different numbers for this as it depends on which of the 40+ local DVLA or CREC (penalty) offices that issued the fine.

If you have the letter it should be on there under the address.

If not ring the main DVLA vehicle enquiry number - 0870 240 0010 or look for alternative or saynoto0870 website - if your call is answered by a CREC trained adviser then they can normally take the payment for you, if its answered by a non-CREC trained adviser they will give you the correct number to ring. About 50% of advisers are trained in CREC so you have a good chance of just making the one call!

But payments can only be taken between 8.45am and 5pm.

nope. DVLA aren't that technologically advanced!

It's pay over phone with card or send cheque.
