CD player not working

I bought a car last August, a 2001 Citroen Saxo. It's a great car and I loe driving it. At the time I bought it I didnt check the radio or the CD player (dumb I know)

Anyway the radio is fine but I cant get the CD player to work, when I insert a CD it appears to try and read the disc but then nothing happens.

Is there anyway of fixing this? or would I have to get a replacement?

Try a cd cleaner. Try different CD's. Make sure CD's are clean.

If all else fails - new cd player.
