Hi
Can anyone recommend a good product to use on faded black rubber on parts of my car?. I cleaned my windows and waxed my car yesterday and cant seem to get the white polish of the rubber seals. I thought maybe back to black or sumthing like that would help?
Any ideas would be gratefully received.

You could try Black Wow.

Believe it or not, good old black shoe polish will bring it up a treat.

dont use back to black looks awfull,
a drop of engine or cooking oil on a rag will do the job but use sparingly

Smooth peanut butter works, although I believe the main ingredient which does the job is the nut oil - so might be worth grabbing some nut oil.
Other options include AutoGlym bumper care which I've just used for the first time today. Found it worked great on some bits but not at all on other bits (think it's the type of plastic).
Other thing that could be worth trying is to use a heat gun, very carefully. Keep away from paintwork and keep it moving. You just want the trim to go black, not melt it etc so be careful and go easy.

If it's a Corsa with faded arches it's easier to buy new arches...

kiwi black shoe polish in the bottle with sponge on top works brilliantly
also a heat gun will return most plastics to black - just watch your paint

I use masking tape prior to waxing and polishing my car.

I would rate Autoglym bumper care as better at getting rid of white polish marks.

For one time only as the heat will burn off the oils in the plastic and they wil be permanently faded when they do again fade.

All the peanut/wax ones are because of the oil. You can rub any oil on, I used to find WD40 gave quite a nice sheen.
The Autoglym bumper care is even better but its a few quid as opposed to a bit of sunflower oil!
