Hi
My son is a terrible eater. Today we went into Julian Graves and bought him some crystallized fruit mix. I just wondered if it was at all healthy or not much different to giving sweets?
Can anyone tell me?
Thanks

Crystallised fruit is very high sugar content but theres no fat content
Dried fruit is better but still no where near as good as fresh fruit would be

According to my dentist it is also really bad for your teeth because of the sticky, suguary texture.

Crystallized fruit is very high carbohydrate so likely to increase your insulin levels and thus lead to weigh gain.
True it doesn't have any fat but it is fat that satiates and so those who eat more fat lose more weight. It was low carb High fat (http://blogg.passagen.se/dahlqvistannika/?anchor=my_lowcarb_dietary_programe_in) that brought about my weight loss. Anyone who thinks saturated fat is bad for you has been conned.
