just popped in2 my local asda supermarket 2day and on the wayout were staff handing out goodie bags with Big Mommas House 2 poster and crayons along with Big Mommas House 1 DVD! :T :rotfl:

P.S you will need to buy something as they asked me for a receipt to confirm i havnt only just come to pick up the freebies!

you can get that dvd for about a fiver not £15 & I dont think you should be calling someone a liar!!

Cool! I love that movie. Only a shame my nearest Asda is about 30 miles away... Ah well, such is life!

I think its just a local thing, no ones a lier but i doubt they would do it in all the asdas it would cost to much to give away for free.

they knock those films out dirt cheap though, i've seen films in there for 3 quid

It's most proberly either a main film distributer giving the dvds away to promote the film Big Momma's House 2 which is in the cinemas now.

It could even be a local cinema and Asda doing a promotion with help from the main film distributer of BM2.

Just for interest film companies do give away via cinemas sometime free dvd's or VHS tapes. Did this with Sitxh Sense and Monsters Inc in the past. But it's not that too common a practace.

And to be honest to a film company dvds only cost about £2 or less wholesale to make inc of case and insert.
