:pI alway buy philosophy though at the moment I have so much to pay out for I cant afford to by it until the end of MAy:rolleyes: So I need one to get my through as I am about to run out, so I would love someone to tell me a body exfoliator that is cheap but does the job, I know nothing is going to compare to what I have used though I dont want to get a really runny one that does not last either.
TIA
Personally, I love the body shop ones as there is loads of them depending on your skin type. For additional scrubbing I use their exfoliating gloves and the round body brush.
For a total exfoliation I use the body brush followed by either a body wash and exfoliating gloves or exfoliant finished with exfoliating gloves. Amazing.
I have found that most exfoliants don't really exfoliate well but if I have particular bits needing scrubbed I buy aluminium oxide crystals with water on my skin.

Hi,
Why don't you buy some of those exfoliating gloves and use your usual soap / shower gel with them? You can buy them in the bodyshop for about a fiver but they are much cheaper in supermarkets etc.
They last forever!

I use Porridge oats. They release oat germ when warm water is added which moisturises and the rough bits gently exfoliate. I buy supermarket cheapo packs which last forever.

For body I use soft brown sugar and olive oil. Works really well and leave my skin so soft after

the above suggestion sounds ideal - or I would suggest salt and baby oil for a slighly less glamorous sounding mix. They are doing the same thing though.

You can try cornmeal mixed with some inexpensive cocoa butter cream/lotion, use with the exfoliating glove, then rinse off.

I am with others when the recommened salt of sugar, this is what i use and have done for years...none of the shop bought exfoliaters are as good as sugar it really scrubs you clean lol and those scrubby gloves are good too....I got mine for 99p from Savers and i love them(they are also good for an itch too lol).

I'm another advocate of the exfoliating gloves.
I just use them with whatever shower gel I have (currently some FCUK body souffle that I got for Christmas - it smells amazing :j) and then, when I remember, I layer on the moisturiser when I come out.

I love my gloves. I use a pair in the shower and another pair I use dry for exfoliating my legs before I epilate - helps lift all hairs and helps stop the ingrowing hairs

The gloves rock!! I bought a purple pair from a clearance bin in Asda perhaps 5 years ago for 10p!! Without doubt, with a nice shower gel, the best body exfoliators (well for MSE folk x x x )
