Well, we might be out for freebies, but so is everyone who requests free samples, more or less. And don't forget, some Moneysavers DO go on to buy things from the site afterwards. Even me, sometimes!

I don't think we are much worse than Joe Public in this respect, and the companies DO still get business out of us. Any samples they have available for Internet enquiries are carefully factored in to their marketing budget. No self-respecting, (or surviving) business would do otherwise.

And no-one runs an Internet business (however small) for any other reason than to make money, whether they say it is a hobby or not.

Still, we must all do as our conscience dictates.

I think you should only request a free sample if you are genuinely interested in their product. Why order a free sample for the sake of it, when it only ends up in the bin.

Respect

But then you might send off for the sake of it but then realise you really like the item when it arrives and buy some. I'm sure if you asked the owners of the company they'd encourage everyone to get the free sample, they wouldn't put it on their website otherwise.

What makes you think my samples go in the bin, or anyone elses, don't be so presumptuous.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v520/elvis_bloggs/Album%201/1aa_1angry.gif

All the freebies I get come in use in a way. Even the little fabric samples I get. My mum just uses them as kitchen cloths to wipe the table, lol. And the envelopes that my freebies comes in, well I just take off the label and use them for all the sample cards I've been getting from Clinton. Every little helps!! ;)

I don't think anyone here would bother to send for something they didn't think they would actually want.

Cards are always useful. I don't know anyone who doesn't send either Christmas or birthday cards, or cards to say thank you, or something. It is very unlikely any of these lovely cards would end up in the bin.

Not being interested in the product enough to spend actual money on it is not the same as not wanting or having a use for something.

Respect to you too. :)
