I drove Mrs Vikings Corsa today and it felt like blaumange (OK Corsas aren't the sharpest steer around in the first place). :D

Something didn't feel right so I checked the tyre pressures - fine. And then had a peek under the rear of the car. The near side shock is leaking.

So my questions are:

(1) Replace in pairs?
(2) How much roughly will the Bank of Viking be hit for this job? (It's a 55 reg 1.4 5 door automatic).

Cheers O mighty Motoring Peeps.

in pairs definatly. not sure of price though. i would think the parts would be too expensive. thats quite a young car needing shockers. does it do high miles/ heavy loads?

Cheers Golddanglez. :D

The car's done 24k - about 6k per year. It's only used for transporting Mrs Viking and the Vikingettes on local trips. Although it returns most days with half the contents of Bluewater and Lakeside Shopping Centre.

Called my friendly local indie who can fit the car in tomorrow. Cost £35 per shock + £45 labour + VAT. Seems quite reasonable.
