View Full Version : ovulation and pregnancy tests
Hi
I thought i would let you all know about a website that i have just used to buy ovulation tests from, they also do pregnancy tests as well
i do not work for them or have any other association with them other than purchasing from them
i bought 40 ovulation tests and paid about £22, compare this with ovulation tests in boots which charge aroun 20 quid for 7 tests
web address is
www.accessdiagnostictests.co.uk
sorry if i should not have posted it here but i thought their services was first rate, ordered them on line monday afternoon and they arrived recorded post today (wed)
Thanks for the link. Pregnancy tests are 50p each ;D
Worth having a couple handy, you never know. The ones in the shops are £10 each, what a rip off!!!
Of course as a real moneysaving alternative you could try having sex every day.
Hi,
Have you tried www.medisave.net
Ovulations tests 40 for £17.95, 60 for £26.95
Preg tests 40 for £10.95, 20 for £6.95,
they do bundles of both too, Very quick service, everything is really clear postage is shown straight away before you even get to checkout, now I really like that!!
Scoobs
Just to let you know I obtained loads of Ovulation Kits and Pregnancy Test etc from another really cheap Website.
You get around 40 Tests for £13.95, great bargain, £2.95 postage but it is worth it.
Cheers
Ian
Website address is www.medisave.co.uk
Just to let you know if you only want a spare ;) My poundland shop sells packs of 2 for £1, obviously no postage there, and you can have just 1 pack. they are wee-in-a-pot kind but do the job!

Found pregnancy testing strips for £1.49 each.

We also do testing pens from £2.49 per test too :)
It's the same test as the strip, just in a plastic pen casing and can be used anywhere with results in just 2 minutes.
Our tests are 99.9% accurate and identicle to the ones used by the NHS and family planning clinics.

Just wanted to add that there is an fantastic book on Fertility (and predicting ovulation) called Taking Charge of Your Fertililty by Toni Weschler....it is very clear and easy to read. No I am not the author :) just a very pleased reader who tried every ovulation predictor going but it was this method that brought on our success. And if you borrow it from your local library it doesn't cost a penny - great for MSEs!
There is a web site to go along with the book http://www.tcoyf.com/
as well as loads of reviews on Amazon

I would highly recommend a look - can't praise it enough

our local B & M's (think this north west mainly) has packs of 2 for £1 too.
Hi, was reading all your comments and managed to find this website.
www.easy-tests.com/acatalog/copy_of_Midstream.html
Hope this helps.
They seem to be quite cheap.Although the delivery is £2.50. Not sure if this depends on how many you actually buy?

I would totally agree with this recommendation. You don't have to go the whole hog with temperature-taking to begin with if you don't want to, you can just monitor certain physical signs instead. I did this and have been very fortunate to fall pregnant on my first cycle since deciding to start trying for a baby.

I bought 100 ovulation test strips off of ebay for £20 including P & P from Australia! They obviously worked because, in conjunction with Toni Welschers excellent book, I got pregnant in the fist cycle:j
Now, can I interest anyone in 90 unused ovualtion tests going very cheap:rolleyes:

If you have a Home Bargains or Quality Save shop (both exactly the same) near you, mostly in the north of england, they sell pregnancy test strips for 89p !!
Not a bad price to keep one at home - just in case !!

Thanks ijim.
www.accessdiagnostics.co.uk - the ovulation test kits on here are really cheap.
I just ordered 10 of the Advanced LH Home Ovulation Tests for £7.49 and if you pop WW2 into the codes section you get a further 5% off your order. And there's no p&p to pay either!
The source for the discount code (valid until Dec 2006) is the Discovery Home & Health website.

www.saveontests.com - $18.99 for 50 tests. International shipping is $5.99

Hi,
The cheapest place I have found to buy pregnancy tests is http://www.smefertility.com it is a UK site that specialises in fertility tests for both men and women. They do promotions where you can get free stuff too.
