View Full Version : Rail Delay compensation
After several delays in several rail journeys this week we are wondering if there is any way to successfully claim money as compensation for disruption. Does anyone have any ideas? ???

According to the Virgin Trains site
Compensation policies and levels compensation differ by Train Company.
If you feel that you are entitled to compensation for disruption to a train journey or would like to comment on the service you received we advise you to contact the train company direct.
Contact details for all train companies are available at www.nationalrail.co.uk
Just keep hold of all the tickets from your journeys and also which trains you were on so they can reference them if need be

You can normally collect a form from the station to send it off with your tickets. I've done it several times and received a travel voucher as compensation.
