i picked up a card at an estee lauder counter and it says:

get a new look and a 3-day foundation sample free. visit teh estee lauder experts today for a complimentary makeup consultation and try double wear stay-in-place lip duo. you'll take home a 3-day sample of double-wear foundation in your exact shade.

i assume taht when you book teh make-over you need to mention the double wear lip duo or you wont get teh foundation!

i couldnt find a link but if you ring or pop into your local store and quote the above im sure youll be fine- theres double wear lip duo stands on each of teh counters ive seen and most of them have the leaflets in front of them, so you could always pick up a leaflet and say 'oh id like to try this' blah blah

I had two "consultations" yesterday. She asked what kind of foundation I was looking for (me - "one that stays on!"), if I had any skin probs (still get the odd spot even in my late forties) and then she took off a bit of my make up on my lower face, consulted a chart then chose a colour. All very simple and both girls were really nice (this was Boots and John Lewis at Bluewater). I came away with a different colour from each one! It took hardly any time and I dont know why the other poster has had to book a consultation time, it isnt a makeover or anything like that.

i went to house of fraser in milton keynes today. presented the voucher and only a few questions asked about my skin type, what kind of look i am after etc. got given a good sized sample afterwards. the lady was very nice!

I used coupons - the Boots girl kept the coupon but the John Lewis one used it to write the name of the foundation on!

Good luck!

btw, dont bother trying to get the clinique freebie from House of Fraser as I did and the girl gave me a very old-fashioned look before saying "no, we dont stock it here". Hmm, funny that since I had some last month. Boots never did have the samples and I had one of the few left in JL and they only have greasy/normal ones left.

hope this helps

I went along to Boots, Fosse Park, Leicester for my try-out yesterday. The girl there, Clare, was very nice. She asked me if I often visited Fosse Park Shopping Centre and that if I did, I must arrange to come for her to give me a make-over (perhaps she thought I looked as though I needed one!). So I think if you have a word with them, they will fix up a time for you to go along and be made up.

I had the same problem as you asking for the Clinique freebie - she told me they never have samples to give.
