Got an email today inviting me to join this panel today.
You get £1 + 25p for joining then you get paid for other surveys. Money can be exchanged for Amazon Vouchers when you reach £5.

We are getting in touch to see if you would be interested in receiving special offers from Cadbury and other well known brands like Persil, PG, Dove and Lynx and to share your opinions once in a while.

If you are interested, please take a few moments to join the Juicy Brains Panel, hosted by our research partners at BrainJuicer® Ltd.

You will receive a £1 'thank you' for joining and another £1 every time you complete a survey (or entry into a prize draw if it is a not-for-profit project).

www.juicybrainspanel.com/Join/Cadbury/ (takes just 3-4 minutes).

I've had 3 surveys through in the last month. ;D

It depends on your profile as to how many you get no doubt. !I've collected about £20's worth of Amazon vouchers during the year or so I've been doing the surveys. !They're fun to do as well ... very different to other surveys.

They're also very good at answering any queries you may have. !In the past, they've had trouble sending the vouchers to my email address and have always been most helpful in sorting it out. !Highly recommended. !;D

Keep emailing Cedric. I've always found him very helpful. Because he had no success emailing the voucher, he sent me the code in the end, which is all you need anyway.

Brain Juicers are my favourite surveys (in terms of completing the online questions). They are quite enjoyable to do, unlike some of the long and tedious ones you get. I've had no problem getting my Amazon vouchers, which have been sent promptly.

I would recommend this survey company, and rank them second to Pinecone Research (thanks again, Sparky!)

They pay you by Amazon e-voucher which is emailed to you. ( nothing through the post)
And they don't telephone you.

After joining GFK on their web site, I got a 'phone call a short while later "inviting" me to complete a monthly diary. They also asked if I wanted to complete a TV questionnaire, which involves listing the programmes you watch every day/night and ticking boxes to say what you think of them.

The diaries are very long and laborious to fill in for a £1 voucher in my opinion, but I have won a £5 Amazon voucher through doing the TV questionnaire (in the first month!).

hi,

i dont know if you guys have heard of this one, but the one i use is gozing surveys:

http://www.gozingsurveys.com/survey_site/index.asp?

i find this the best survey payout site, within about 4 - 5 months i have completed about 5 - 6 surveys and have recieved about $16 into my paypal account, (they still have some to pay me yet).

the thing i like about this is that you get a lot of surveys and it pays you cash (well sort of, paypal)

i think you should give it a try,

thanks

I still think Quickwise.co.uk are the best ... £1 for all surveys, they're all short and some are only one question! Once you've reached £9, you can opt to have the money transferred to your bank account andI receive 2/3 surveys a month on average. Also, you are notified by text (if you choose), as well as by email :-

Ciao ... I'm not usually in their target group. And many of their surveys are through OTX, and their surveys won't run on Firefox.

Quickwise ... I've had one survey invitation from them since joining on 30 June. That was on 12 July.

Juicy Brains ... As I said in December, this is my favourite after Pinecone, but surveys seem to have dried up recently. Last one was 15 July.

Pinecone ... Last one was 24 June.

GoZing ... Lots of invitations received, but mostly they arrive too late and the survey is closed, or else I don't fit into their target group.

YouGov are very good ... I've just claimed my first reward from them: a cheque for £50. (www.yougov.com) These are mostly political surveys, and you are paid by cheque, but £50 is the minimum and only reward.

There are also IPSOS, THS, Hi-Points, SongPeople, Test & Vote/Toluna, Opinion World, Valued Opinions, Knots Club, Lightspeed, Sky News Panel, Synovate, Shoppers Team, Zoom Panel, NOP, Greenfield Online, EuroPanel and Global Test Market.

I'm sure a quick Google will find the websites for you, but really I don't recommend most of them.

I got my first payment about 7 weeks after I asked for it. A lot of the surveys I'm not "suitable" for. Will keep going with them as they pay cash.

I'm a suvey addict too - had a bumper night tonight and earned about £28 in just over an hour, pretty boring stuff but is worth it for the cash. Had 3 from Ciao and qualified for 2 (not bad), one from Zoom, one from Valued Opinions, one from Yougov, and one from Planetpanel. Must say Valued Opinons are one of my fave (£5 tesco voucher on it's way), followed by Ciao and Planet Panel if they pay up - was my first survey for $25 into paypal. Will have to look up some of the other ones mentioned earlier on in this post, pays better than my regular job on a good day! :rotfl:

Think it's just a matter of getting lucky. I basically sign up for just about every survey site going and click on every survey op'y. With Ciao it seems the more you "try" and do the more they send you. Also with the likes of yougov if I do the "prize" polls I def'y get more paid surveys. If u can't find planet panel let me know and I'll look it up. As i say first one I've done for them so here's hoping they pay up!!

I just recently signed up with Dialego. You get 40 points on sign up. I hadn't heard from them with any surveys but this morning I received an email asking me to log in and complete a lifestlyle questionnaire for which I got 20 points and a further 10 points for updating my profile. I now have £4.70.
150 = £10 Amazon voucher or £10 voucher for ChateauOnline Wine merchants.
If you want a cash payment you must have a balance of 600 points.
You can earn 10 points for every referral and they have a forum where the 3 best quotations of the month are awarded 100 points.
On average you will receive surveys every 2 weeks which pay 15-50 points per survey.
:)

Thanks, Rachel. I have just signed up with the French Planet Panel, and have done six initial surveys for them. But there's a big difference ... It seems that on the French panel you don't get cash payments, you get entries into monthly and annual prize draws. Not so attractive to me, although I've done OK on the GfK TV surveys, with three £5 Amazon vouchers. I never seem to win on other sites with draws, like Lightspeed.

Anyway, I'll wait a few days and sign up to the UK Planet Panel as well!

Thanks for the tips.

Hi Droopsnout. I know what you mean about Planetpanel I also get a lot of "prize" surveys which like you say aren't as good. I skim read my email invitations from such companies and that is how I got my paid one. I don't do ALL the prize surveys for this company 'cause I haven't got the time!
Also I find the GfK site the same, but you are lucky I have never won a bean!!! I even did 22 surveys one month thinking I had to win, but nope...maybe next month!
Also Lightspeed - never won with them - but have had the occasional PAID survey from them. Remember receiving a £5 next voucher for doing one particular survey from them. But again I think these paid surveys are few and far between but worth checking your emails!
I just got the dialego invite too, could be a winner site. I'm pretty new to this one so will wait and see! Some kind Mum on Bounty referred me to that one!

I belong to http://www.surveysavvy.com but that seems a waste of time, and http://gozingsurveys.com , which I've been paid twice from - not much though.

Another one I'm signed up with is http://www.globaltestmarket.com/index.php . They give you points for doing surveys and you get given invites to participate in surveys quite often - normally once every 2 or 3 days. It's American but I've heard they can send to England? But I think they send a US cheque. I requested a while ago so will have to see.

http://www.globaltestmarket.com/index.php .But I think they send a US cheque. I requested a while ago so will have to see.

That's correct. It seems to take a long time for them to reward your account, too.

In order to get any decent rewards from them, it seems best to accumulate a lot of money in your account, as the bank charges for cashing a US cheque in the UK are excessively high, and you would lose a high proportion of your rewards.

It would be better if they would use PayPal.

That is correct, normally it's a lot of money to pay in US cheques! Someone however recommended me http://www.auctionpix.co.uk/ , I haven't used them yet but they charge 95p per batch of cheques to convert them!

The company was started by a Dr Jim Melville - any relation? ;)

If you do have a connection with a company that you are posting about, you do need to declare it, in line with the site rules.
Sorry folks, new to the site and unaware of these rules. Yes I do work for this company - the majority of our projects are done face-to-face though we've recently carried out a couple of thes online / email panels. Anyone wanting to join, please send an email to info@wssintl.com.

I'm not sure if this has been posted (have looked though :)), but I tried this site for the first time a couple of weeks ago - apolgies for not posting it quicker.

www.nfocc.com/ (http://www.nfocc.com/)

(Hope that link works)

I did one survey, received a bag of new flavoured crisps (won't say which lol), but also received a £2 voucher for High St shops.

Then there was a follow up survey, for which I'm presumable getting another £2 voucher

£5.28 for a few minutes work (if the follow up pays £2.00 that is :D)

Thanks to everyone for all the links provided.

It's been the best one so far, BrainJuicer being 2nd, (£5 voucher for Amazon), so I'd recommend them to others too.

Shame really, as I originally joined because of a link posted on here but rules is rules. :(

I joined this company's survey and I got paid recently as soon as I reached 1000points (US$50). I requested for payment, and after about 4-6 weeks, I received the cheque in British Pounds, with a letter saying that it's in local currency to reduce bank charges. So they are pretty smart after all....It's a good company. I like it... ;)

Hope that helps.

Same here ... I occasionally get to do one through another survey company, but very rarely.

Also not had a Pinecone survey for many months now, BUT I've just won £100 in a UK draw (1st prize) with Zoom Panel. Regularly do their surveys and click on the prize draw button at the end. Couldn't believe it when I got an email from them the other day ... never normally win anything!

We are not currently recruiting new members via our website or taking
unsolicited referrals. We will be posting banner ads on various unspecified web
sites from time to time throughout the year. This is so we may better target
more specific groups needed to meet the needs of our clients. Unfortunately,
this is our only way of accepting new panellists at this time.

Thanks for this - have just joined and will see how they are. Have joined a few survey sites now and plan to put money/vouchers aside for xmas 2006. So far have got £10 from juicybrains, about £18.50 on my Caio account and about 700 points on Global Test Market (1000 points worth $50). Also keep clicking on Pigsback and have had £20 in Boots vouchers with a further £5.25 currently in bank and also about 1050 points with mutual rewards (3000 points worth £20). These not strictly survey sites but still all help. Also with Test&Vote and one or two more. ANyone else know any good ones? Am trying to raise about £500 by xmas, one way or another! Maybe manage to get a first non-credit-card xmas in a while.

I cashed in my points for a £5 voucher. Never seen it. Complained and heard nothing!!!! Anyone tell me how the voucher came? Or how I can get mine. My points have gone and no dosh to spend

if you log into your account and check on the bottom right of the page
check you full juicing history click that and if you've redeemed a voucher the code will be there so you'll still be able to use it.You need to keep checking it though because it only has your last months history saved.

:)

it's actually 300 points needed for a £20 voucher, 150 is for donations to charity :) They do pay though, just a little slow at times with surveys.

Has anyone mentioned www.quickwise.co.uk? I searched this thread but came up with zilch. They pay you cash money for their surveys, and you can cash it in every £9.00, I've already had £9.00 credited to my bank account, and have £6.50 towards my next 9 quid. I also do Juicy Brains and MyTNS, and I don't have a great deal of time to spare, used to miss the surveys as they mostly have time limits (I think all of them send reminders to your mobile), but now I have broadband it makes all the difference. Sometimes you get turned down as they are looking for "a different profile" but you can fib a bit if you can see where the survey is going and get the full points/cash/Amazon vouchers. Give QuickWise a try - if it's free dosh it can't be bad! :T

Question: when signing up to some sites, you are asked whether you are currently participating in any other market research/survey companies. I am assuming it's better to say no (cough, cough! ;)), right?

My logic is that some surveys seem to pop up on different sites, and they presumably don't want the same people answering them...

Could you let me have the Phone number for the TNS paper surveys? I have been a panel member for years but have recently moved house. In the move I lost the contact number so my surveys are not coming to the new address. I want to update their records but don't know who to contact!!!!

Just to confirm that GlobalTestmarket:

http://www.globaltestmarket.com/index.php

do send cheques in GB£, despite the fact that the site is run in US£ and that the rewards equate to 5 cents per point.

I rate them as one of the best because they usually give you at least a few points for your time even if you don't "qualify" after the initial questions - wish the other firms would have the same courtesy!

Sitting looking at a cheque for £27.05 which is probably about the third or fourth this year.

One market research site that I am a member of is Saros Research. They don't do online polls but the organise groups where you go and chat for a couple of hours about a particular topic and they pay well. It is normally about £40 for 2 hours work. They hold groups all round the country. You don't hear from them too often but their groups are well worth their while. I have done several for them now. As always, don't mention that you may have done other studies!!

I have just had an email from TNS and have found a way to join Shop and Scan(where you get paid for scanning your weekly shopping). If you go to their website
www.volunteer4panels.com
you can register you interest in taking panels. You can specify which of their panels you want to join and providing they have vacancies they will send you an invitation number. It may take some time for you to hear from them as apparently they send invites depending on the demographics of their volunteers. From the wording of the website it sounds like they have other panels that it may be possible to join!
Sounds good to me!!!!!

Be prepared for a lot of rejections from JB - especially if you do their surveys on behalf of another company. The good this is they sometimes pay you if you don't qualify for their own surveys. I managed to get a £10 voucher after deciding I'd had enough, but rejoined.

I don't think Edna means you should post your private email address (not allowed anyway!). Presume she means why not be more open on the board and let us know exactly what you mean when it could be worth our while if we get regular surveys from the two panels you mention, rather than have to contact you individually.

Just out of interest: has anyone else had the survey for nappies and stuff recently (I've had it 3 times from different sites - Lightspeed and Test & Vote)?

I didn't qualify for any of them, so just wondering what you had to say to qualify? I answered the first one truthfully (as I do have a child under 3 1/2), and they didn't like that. In the other two, I tried giving different answers, but that was no good either.

Just curious what it was that they were looking for?

Thanks MimiJane.

Picking up your thread ripryan, no-one said or suggested you should post your name or email address - where did that come from? If you have some great idea or want to "help people out" as you claim, then let's hear your big idea out here in public please.

I'm afraid that your subsequent posts are just as elusive and secretive as the first one - why is that?

At present, the more you post the more dodgy you look.

I've just rejoined Lightspeed Panel after about a year. I had forgotten they existed until reading some of the posts on here. I have also just joined GFK who I had never heard of, again through reading peoples opinions on here. I hope they are good. That makes 11 panels I am part of now. I don't know whether to bother with Juicy Brains after reading some of the comments about them.

Are there any other really good panels that I have missed out on?

Of the panels I am a member of Quickwise is probably the best. You don't hear from them that often but the rewards are good and you can build up points quite quickly.

Ipsos Online is also quite good.

Lightspeed panel get in touch quite often but it can be quite tiresome wading through all of the quickmatches that they constantly send you.

Hope that is a help.

Agreed. Quickwise give you £1 for every survey and sometimes they've just been one question! Lightspeed have improved a lot recently since they've started awarding points rather than entries into prize draws, etc. I'm hearing from them a lot more often and the points seem to add up quickly to some decent rewards.

I find lightspeed the best since they've changed their reward system. I've had £20 worth of vouchers from them and enough for another £5 one since april. They have a good range of vouchers to choose from too.

The only word of warning I would give to anyone about YouGov is the ridiculously high payout threshold - £50!!!

If it's hard enough getting to the limits others impose, I just wonder how often YouGov actually pays out and how often people just give up. I quote from their FAQs:

YouGov values its members and pays out thousands of pounds to members each month. Our terms and conditions state that we only pay out cheques once you have reached the specified payout level of £50, and not before. This policy has been in place since the start of YouGov and is unlikely to change at the present time, but is reviewed regularly. We want you to be happy with the service you receive from YouGov and would like to thank you for your continuing support.

Hi Dormouse,

I remember I joined IPSOS through an Archerfish link - don't know if you can still do this (I'm not a member of Archerfish anymore). After joining, I noticed IPSOS were advertised on loads of cashback sites, and I was upset that I hadn't got a more substantial cashback for my registration (you know the cashback levels on Archerfish ).

At the moment, you may still be able to join if you are registered with Freefivers - http://www.freefivers.co.uk/shoplist.php - they even seem to give £0.55 cashback for doing this!

If you can't join through cashback sites, then Edna's advice is the best way to do it: contact them and express your interest in joining. ;)

EDIT: Just noticed that there seems to be a link to join IPSOS on this website, in the 'Get Paid to Take Surveys' section. This is a website I visit daily (not mine) - you may know it too Dormouse: http://members.lycos.co.uk/ilovefreebiesuk/

I should have received a £10 Amazon voucher ages ago for completing a food diary over a few days. It never arrived. You're lucky to get any reply at all.

I emailed Lauren on 19 July to ask why so many surveys refuse to start, saying "You have paused your interview before it was completed." even though I'm sure I have never started the surveys, and never received a reply.

I am expecting a voucher that was supposed to arrive "in the next two to four weeks" of 6 July, and I'm not sure it's worth chasing.

What a waste of time Lightspeed Panel are.

I'm very disappointed with Lightspeed too. I thought things would get better after the introduction of the points reward system, but no, no chance! They owe me two vouchers (the first one ordered back in May:eek: ), and I've also got enough points for several others. I emailed them, and just like you MimiJane, got a standard reply, asking me to check my spam filters. Emailed them back - and nothing.

In my case, they appear to be the most reliable in terms of getting surveys - I get at least one daily, qualify for most, and find them quite enjoyable. I also got the chance to test a product once, and enjoyed doing that a lot. Too bad they don't reward their panel members properly...

I think they really do seem to have a problem then. They've lost one of my voucher codes already, another is on it's way (AHEM) within 2-4 weeks. (yeah yeah)

I do quite like them as they send out a lot of surveys. But what's the point if you never get the proper rewards?

And I think everyone gets that spam filter email - utter nonsense - they just don't bother sending the voucher codes until you complain!

I completely agree about Lightspeed - they also owe me two £5 reward vouchers from ages ago and their surveys keep giving me the "You have paused your interview before it was completed." message after I've spend ages on them!

I have NEVER received anything from Lightspeed without complaining first.

I am owed vouchers, too.

I have just sent them this email:

Dear Sir/Madam

Despite your promises to send my voucher, none has arrived. It seems to me that you are having difficulties in sending out voucher codes to your panel members. I believe this because I have read other panellists' complaints here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=2648056#post2648056

I am therefore writing to tell you that I shall not be completing any further surveys until the delivery of vouchers is carried out in an equitable manner, such that panellists receive their rewards as per the information on Lightspeed's web site.

I am very sorry to be taking this action, as Lightspeed sends me more surveys, more often, than any other market research company. However, I do not like being taken for granted, I do not like being deceived, and the time I spend on completing the surveys is very valuable.

I look forward to hearing from you soon, and hope that you will be able very soon to make sure that members are rewarded appropriately for their efforts.

Yours faithfully

Yep, my experiences with Lightspeed are exactly the same: lots of surveys, easy to get loads of points, but getting vouchers takes forever.

And I thought I was the only one with surveys I can't start due to having "paused" them!

You are all aware of these email addresses to complain to, right? (thanks to kavakava for posting them in an old thread!)

If you have problems, email these people (the owners/CEOs of Lighstpeed):

info@lightspeedresearch.com (info@lightspeedresearch.com) (general email)

ahedde@lightspeedresearch.com (ahedde@lightspeedresearch.com) (ceo)

bbreslauer@lightspeedresearch.com (bbreslauer@lightspeedresearch.com) (global director)

eu@lightspeedresearch.com (eu@lightspeedresearch.com) (London office)

acayton@lightspeedresearch.com (acayton@lightspeedresearch.com) (London manager)

I wrote those down last time you posted and tried sending an e-mail to them a while back but the only one it would send to was the general email and i just got the standard reply from 'lauren'. Has anyone else managed to send an email to those addresses?

I've ordered 4 vouchers and managed to get 3 of them after continously emailing them but the 4th one should have been sent a month ago and still no sign of it. The only good thing is the choice of shops to exchange your vouchers for once you actually get sent the code!

Yes, I emailed them (most of them anyway) a few months ago, and although my reply was from "Lauren", my queries were resolved.

I use ciao.co.uk (paid over £20) yougov (earned £15 but payout at £50) and another place which I forget.. that I have £12 on but they pay out at £25. Ciao is the best IMO.

I received an email from surveys.com today saying..

Thanks very much for agreeing to take part in our study on kitchen roll. I'm pleased to say that you have been selected to participate in this study. Over the next week or so you should receive a package from us containing some product and paperwork. Included within this will be a letter explaining what is involved. We kindly ask that you read this letter carefully before you start.

Thanks again for your help with this study. We hope you enjoy taking part.

Best regards

Had a reply from Lightspeed to the email quoted above. I would have been happier if it had mentioned target dates for the despatch of the vouchers we are all owed! Judging from the amount of business passing through their company, I would have thought that there were no problems in buying and despatching the required number of e-vouchers. Is there anything else that could delay purchase and distribution?

Anyway, here's the reply (complete with typo, indicating that it's not the usual standard email) from (the, I presume, fictional) Lauren:

Thank you for your email.

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing problems in receiving your voucher. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

As you understand, there are other panelists who are experiencing similar problems. Therefore there is a slight delay in re-ordering the codes due to the amount of emails coming in. Please be assured that we are workind hard to resolve the issue.

Kind Regards,

Lauren

Got my first survery from 'Thats what I think' today.

http://www.thatswhatithink.co.uk/index.htm

They gave me 400 points for completing it. With my 500 joining points I am only 600 off my first free voucher. I am impressed. And this site is especially good for a film nerd like me!

Signed up for about eight survey sites mentioned on this thread, about a month ago, but they don't like me! I think I've had two surveys to date, one of which I wasn't suitable for after all. Meh, wonder what's wrong with me! Wish I hadn't bothered filling in all the questionaires now, lol

Had a good week this week so far....
Got all the toilet roll to test and 200 points for the privelege, follow up questionnaire was a tad odd tho' :rotfl: (ipsos)
Got my kitchen roll too, which they will pay me a £5 voucher to test lol  (isurveys)
And logged onto pureprofile and after not checking my balance for ages was up to £29.40 so a cheque is in the post.
Not bad for v.little worK!!!!! (pureprofile)

If anyone is wanting to join isurveys u are probably best doing it through ipoints as they are also running surveys on their site too and with daily clicks u can soon get your balance up.

If anyone hasn't joined pureprofile yet my link is http://www.pureprofile.co.uk/entry.asp?P=949085987 (I get a £1 I think) or u can join here - www.pureprofile.co.uk. Definetly my favourite site this week!
