I have spots-mostly on my chin and around my jaw-touching my skin?
Anyhow, I am no teenager unless you divide my age by 2!!
Can anyone recomend a good cheap skin care routine- I don`t have lots of time or money.
I am right in thinking- clean-tone-moistuise? Do I have to buy 3 products or can i but 1, I have combanation skin with an oiley I zone. That is oiley forehead, nose and chin.
Thankyou

Was a thread recently about Acne, don't know if that would help?
You may find that toning is too much on skin that's prone to dryness, and you've got to choose a moisturiser carefully to avoid clogging up the spots. Mild exfoliation might help, not entirely sure. I like the antibacterial bodywashes, I think by Carex.
Other than that my only advice would be to try 'own brands' rather than expensive stuff.

You might want to check out your diet, too.
Although this in specific is aimed at teens, the same rules apply.

Basically, I think the general idea is to stay away from sugar and fat, and keep well hydrated.

Apparently in chinese medicine spots around the jaw and chin are believed to be related to reproductive system and hormones. Mine cleared up a lot when i got diagnosed with polycystic ovaries and got put on a contraceptive pill that would sort it out. And once they'd started to clear up i stopped picking and touching, and that made a definite difference. Now if I do get one, and i start messing with it, i can really see how it makes it worse
BUT - my friend had this really badly and she'd had all the hormone tests etc and they came back normal. But she used to touch the affected areas all the time, and used quite astringent things on her skin to try to dry out the spots.
Her skin's now almost perfect, and she puts it down to a) using Dr Hauschka products which are organic and apparently de-clog your skin by getting it to rebalance itself and not rely on mousituriser or astringents. and B) she says that as soon as it started to sort itself out she stopped getting the urge to touch it, and that made a real difference.
Good luck.

Try putting milk of magnesia on your face before bed. I read it as a tip on here to get rid of black heads. I have used every product you can imagine to try and get rid of my spots, since using milk of magnesia i never get one now.
