Good find. Problem with offers like these is that most of the time stock runs out pretty fast so there is no guarantee you'll get anything free. Good for people who usually buy the Telegraph though.

That's a very good point. Get your paper and go early to stand the best chance.

Bought the paper and was at Tie rack Canary wahrf when they opened. picked up a purple pashmina and the manager said they were not included in the offer. picked a different colour then 2 girls walk in pick up the purple ones and the pointed out in the tcs that purple was actually included.
they only had 2 so missed out on that colour. Was annoyed at the manager but also at myself as I had not read the tcs fully. Anyway i did manage to get a diff colour so well pleased with this. good quality as well

Thanks op

Got to Tie Rack in Bull Ring Birmingham at 8.30. No queue. Went back at 8.50, was 4th in queue. Saw Tie Rack put out all of the pashminas on a table. Not a very good selection of colours. No bright pink or purple scarves. Got a rose pink scarf. Bit of a scrum at 9am - I say 'scrum' but rather 20 or so middle-class types saying excuse me politely. An entire family must have bought 4 papers as the little kids were claiming their scarves. A few students and elderly people getting two scarves each.
The scarf is wool but it's thin and not at all like the scarves usually Tie Rack sell for £19.99. Not a patch on the one's you get in TK Maxx for £15.

Quite a queue outside Swansea shop before it opened, & growing steadily - colours disappeared very quickly.

I did wonder why were later arrivals were surprised by the popularity of this offer, heard one woman remark loudly "I thought we would be the first!"
Also, there was the inevitable chancer - the assistant was kind but firm & told her, 'you have had one already!'

I went to Ealing and before I even asked, I overheard the shop assistant telling some customers that they had sold out by 10.30am! I moved to Bayswater and found some left at around 2pm, so picked a pink one for my niece's birthday :o) They still had some, but not many colours left.

I got one for my mum in Livingston they had loads of colours then i went into Edinburgh and got one for myself but they only had black and cream left. There was a massive queue of people behind me when i left. I even heard one of the staff saying that people have been phoning around stores to see what colours are left. I'm glad i got mine early.

A massive queue in Milton Keynes today by 9.10am. It opened at 9am and I reckon there were about 40 people in the queue by the time I left the shop at 9.30am. Lots of colours still left though. Got a rose pink one and my boyf got bright pink one (suits him but think it would make a nicer present for a friend! ) :) !

Got to the one in Oxford about 10.30am and thought I'd be one of the first by the time people got their papers and bothered to go! There was a queue when we got there! Stupid of me really I guess!! Only black and cream left (I took my boyfriend so got one of each!) but they had a lot so not sure if maybe they only ever had these colours as doubt they'd have got through all 8 other colours in less than 1 hour 30 if they'd had the same number?

The shop in Oxford is tiny though - people weren't even looking around as you couldn't get in, just handing voucher and going - felt a bit bad really.

Bit disappointed as really liked the purple one and the bright blue but a good freebie anyway (though no way would I pay £20!)!

I got some 10% off vouchers too.

None left in Cardiff by about 1.30, I wasn't really surprised though. But they did offer a 20% off voucher for something else. Excellent offer.

Massive queue in Solihull at 11.30-only had black left. I rang them earlier in the week to see if they were taking part in the promotion and they told me they had 3,000! By 12.15 they appeared to have about 30 left. I am pleased with mine!

Believe it or not I saw the offer but didnt get the Telegraph although there was only one copy left in my local shop. I couldn't be bothered to get the bus into Brum City Centre:rolleyes:

I am glad that folks on here benefitted from the offer.

All I could hear when I entered the Victoria shop was the ripping of paper :rotfl:

The one I got is all wrapped up with some chocs for mothers day. Bargain :T

So is the Telegraph doing weekly deals now then or is this just a lucky 3 week run does anyone know. I'll be honest, I usually buy the mirror on a Saturday but when offers are on obviously the Telegraph it is.

I was at Gyle Edinburgh at 11.00 am and they only had black or cream.....hundreds of them and quite a queue, said they'd run out of other colours so I took a black one..however later on (2pm) I had something to take back to M&S and they had all the other colours. As I had mine still with me I asked to change for a pink one but was told all the offer ones had gone! Bizarre as these were on the rails with the black and cream ones and priced 19.99
