Tip:- Don't add 'Ltd' to 'your' 'company' name.
It's so easy for anyone to get on to Companies House and check if Co. is actually registered ( All Ltd co's have to be registered )
But having said that can't see any co. offering freebies is going to check every applicant!!!!

I had the same experience as Elvis_Bloggs. When it was posted before I think it was chocolates and mousemats but I never received anything so if you don't enjoy turning blue I wouldn't hold your breath...

I work for a large insurance company who credit insures and credit checks companies. Although we use Companies House our preference is Graydons UK as they have a huge database detailing nearly every company in the UK whether it be non-limited, sole trader or a partnership. All companies should be registered somewhere so it wouldn't be that hard to check, having said that I have just applied so will wait to see what I get - fingers crossed for choccie ! :beer:
