We are going to the States in two weeks (Yippee!!)
Well, we have to save all this money for something!
We have booked a car hire through ebookers (carbookers)
Does anyone know if you need to get extra insurance with this firm - it appears pretty comprehensive from their site, but I am being worried by the advertising from Carhireinsurance4you or whatever they are called!
I looked at their rates but they only seem to do annual policies, and we are only going for 12 days, so £99 looks excessive on top of a £225 carhire bill.
Thanks in advance for any help

I have just booked a uk car hire with carbookers and when i booked the car hire i got an option to buy a policy from Carhireinsurance4you which lasts just for the duration of the car hire reservation.

I guess that's how it works for the us hire.

The excess on the CDW is £500 however with this policy if i am charged £500 for whatever reasin then i can claim on the policy.
