Bowen Technique

Has anyone tried this ?
I searched the site and the only people I can see recommending it are people who practice it.
I'm sure they are telling the truth about how good it is but would prefer to hear from anyone who has tried it.

Tried it about 5 years ago for lower back pain and had several sessions. Tried my best to believe it would help but unfortunately had no effect whatsoever. I had read various articles recommending it, but did not work for me.
