haven't tried it, so i can't be much help there, i'm afraid... but i've seen the adverts on tv and think the food looks awful! i know i wouldn't be able to stick to it, because it all looks really unappetising! lol. although, i'm sure people must like it or else they wouldn't have the money to advertise on tv!
it's not for me - i like to cook my own meals and often like to decide what i'm having about 2 minutes before cooking it - and it seems very expensive... but if you think it would work for you, there's no harm trying it. i'm sure they do a trial package, or maybe you could give it a go for a month and see what you think.
it's certainly a healthier option than some of the very low calorie diets that are popular at the moment - i really don't see the appeal of things like lighter life and the like... at least diet chef is actual food!

I've just had a look at some of the ingredient of those meals and it is inevitable that your carbohydrate intake will be too high to allow your body to burn the fat you have previously stored.
To allow currently stored fat reserves to be used as fuel you need to reduce your carbohydrate intake to around 50g daily.
The bars are the diaster area averaging over 60g carbs, that more than I have all day.
The milkshakes are also pretty daft with sugar as the second main ingredient.
It's a lot cheaper just to stop eating those foods that make you hungry.
Dr Dahlqvist's way of eating (http://blogg.passagen.se/dahlqvistannika/?anchor=my_lowcarb_dietary_programe_in)
This allowed me to lose weight at 2.25lbs a week for 20 weeks last year and it's been easy to stick to it when I reached my target and keep that weight off. No special foods, (although I have been using coconut oil to fry my breakfast bacon & eggs) No meetings, no extra money spent (in fact losing my cravings meant it was easier to drink less)
The benefits I've obtained were
regular sustained weight loss
The ability to lose weight without having to exercise (though I do believe those who can exercise should for the benefit of their heart and brain)
10 inches off my waist
Improved skin tone, (no flab left where the fat has been removed)
Elimination of cravings and abnormal hunger (thus saving on the booze bill)
Makes you look younger. (and feel younger too) as you lose weight you become naturally more energetic.
Improves your brain function. You will think quicker and sharper so making decisions is easier and concentration less of an effort. No more brain fog or wuzzy head feelings.
