Hope this is the right forum?
Currently my partner and I both work together in London and commute Via Train. However my partners job has been outsourced to another company and his job is being relocated to another location outside london. The location is about 40 mins away by car (Is not accessible by train from where we live..would have to do a 30min bus journey first).
We are trying to calculate costs of wear and tear through driving the car everyday. At the moment it only gets used on the weekends. Can someone advise roughly often things like Tyres, Brakes etc could possibly need replacing? I have no idea about these kind of things...I just have the annual service/Mot and usually everything is ok with it. Its an 04 Reg renault clio 1.2l engine..and how much does insurance go up if you add commuting to it?
