Sorry if this is a bit off topic, but I really didn't want to pay the extortionate price for a set of GHD irons so I bought some off ebay made by "she", allegaedley made in the same factory as GHDs but a fraction of the price (I think I paid around £30). Go to ebay and search for GHD and you will see them.
Hope this helps someone!

Kodo irons are also good, they cost about £35 and are made using about 80-90% same components as GHD's and are made in the same factory! I love my kodo's they have even replaced my old ghd's!!!

Hi, I bought some kodos for £40 off ebay...After 2 months, they stopped working. When I turned them on, nothing happened. I sent them back to the ebayers shop and I received a replacement..
This time in a month, the same problem occured. And I started to find my friends where haveing the same problems.. It was a problem with the cord, some can twiddle it round to get the to work. But as you can tell this isn't easy when you are trying to straighten your hair.
The straighteners straightened my curly hair well, but I wasn't prepared to put up with the problem again. SO i sent them back and requested a refund. However they said they couldn't provide a refund as the guaruntee had run out by this point.
SO I was now £40 down the drain. and just made my mind up to buy some GHDs, which I bought of HQhair.com and I would recomend this site. As it is the cheapest place I could find the irons, and they were delivered in less than two days.. I've had my GHDs for four months now. And there have been no problems.. They even work better on my hair than my Kodos did
So let this be a lesson to you all..... DO NOT BUY KODOs!!!
